Kanthalloor is a hamlet in the Idukki district’s Devikulam taluk. It is a small village in the Western Ghats. The pleasant climate, beautiful sceneries, and diverse tropical crops, together with the village’s proximity to Munnar (a prominent hill station), have turned it into a tourist destination. Kanthalloor is known for its apple, oranges, plums, peaches, and a variety of other fruits and vegetables not found elsewhere in Kerala. The Anamudi Shola National Park encompasses the evergreen forest that surrounds Kanthalloor. Kanthalloor is around 50 km from Munnar town via Marayoor. Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (Kerala RTC) runs buses to Kanthalloor at regular intervals from Munnar and Marayoor. Note that in some cases, the bus images displayed are representative. Please contact the respective bus stands and depots for the most up-to-date bus schedules.
